How do Clio and Clearbrief work together?
Clearbrief is empowering small and solo firms to go up against powerful opponents and to gain the power of a team of associates thanks to AI. Legal teams already upload the pdfs of factual documents like discovery and filed pleadings to Clio.
Clio users can now open Clearbrief and connect their accounts to select specific pdfs to copy into their ClearbriefMatterFolderFolders in Microsoft Word so they can do AI analysis on the docs.
Clearbrief immediately OCR’s the documents (making them text searchable), and allows the lawyer to use Clearbrief’s unique feature not offered by any other platform: the user can select any text in their Word doc to view AI suggestions for the most relevant pages from the uploaded pdfs.
Clearbrief’s AI also builds a Table of Authorities in seconds, and hyperlinks both factual and legal citations for faster cite-checking, helping solos catch opposing counsel’s mistakes (or their own, before filing).
Then, when you’re done drafting, you can send a fully hyperlinked version of the pleading to the court with a click from Word.
